HUTCHMED (00013.HK): GSK licence deal for KRAS-EGFR ATTC closes

On 21 October 2026, HUTCHMED (00013.HK) closed its HMPL-A830 licence deal with GSK, covering territories outside Greater China, for a USD 110 million upfront.
Key Highlights:
  • The global trial covers unresectable advanced or metastatic solid tumours in China and the United States.
  • Beyond the upfront payment, HUTCHMED Limited will receive tiered royalties based on net sales.

NewTimeSpace News: On 21 October 2026, HUTCHMED (China) Limited (stock code: 00013) said the exclusive development and licence agreement between its subsidiary HUTCHMED Limited and a subsidiary of GSK plc closed after customary conditions including antitrust review were met, giving the GSK unit rights to develop and commercialise HMPL-A830 outside the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.

HMPL-A830 is a first-in-class antibody-targeted therapy conjugate (ATTC) pairing a potent KRAS small molecule inhibitor payload with an anti-EGFR antibody. A global Phase I trial in unresectable advanced or metastatic solid tumours, run in China and the United States, began its Phase Ia portion in September 2026 (NCT07718581). HUTCHMED Limited will run global Phase I development while the GSK unit handles later development and sales in its territories. HUTCHMED expects a USD 110 million upfront payment shortly plus up to USD 1.185 billion in milestones and tiered royalties on net sales.
