NewTimeSpace News: On 21 October 2026, Sino Biopharmaceutical Limited (stock code: 01177) said TQC2731 injection, a Class 1 innovative TSLP antibody developed by its subsidiary Chia Tai Tianqing Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd., has completed enrolment of all participants in a Phase III registrational trial for maintenance treatment of chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP).
TQC2731 is a humanised monoclonal antibody targeting thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP), blocking the upstream signal that starts the inflammatory cascade. CRSwNP causes persistent nasal blockage, loss of smell and nasal discharge, and recurrence after nasal corticosteroids plus endoscopic surgery still reaches 35% to 60%. Listed biologics mostly target type 2 inflammation and work poorly in non-type 2 patients. TQC2731 may modulate both types and is also in a Phase III trial for severe asthma, the first Chinese-developed TSLP antibody to reach Phase III.
