China Everbright Water (01857.HK): Completes Issuance of Phase 1 Medium-Term Notes of 2026 with Principal of RMB 1.5 Billion

NewTimeSpace News: China Everbright Water announced on 14 July that the Company has completed the issuance of Phase 1 medium-term notes for 2026 with an issuing principal of RMB 1.5 billion and a coupon rate of 1.80%.

NewTimeSpace News: On 14 July 2026, China Everbright Water (01857.HK) issued an announcement that the Company has completed the issuance of Phase 1 medium-term notes of 2026, which were offered to institutional investors on the National Interbank Bond Market with an overall oversubscription multiple of 1.8 times.

The aggregate principal amount of this tranche of notes is RMB 1.5 billion with a tenor of 5 years. The Company holds an option to adjust the coupon rate and note holders hold a put option exercisable at the end of the third year. The coupon rate stands at 1.80%. Both the issuer and the notes carry AAA credit ratings assigned by Shanghai Brilliance Credit Rating & Investors Service Co., Ltd.

The raised proceeds will be used to repay the Company’s outstanding bonds. Everbright Securities acts as the lead underwriter and bookrunner, while Bank of China serves as the joint lead underwriter.
