NewTimeSpace News: On 14 October 2026, China Everbright Water Limited (01857.HK; SGX: U9E) announced that a consortium formed with independent third parties, in which the Company is the leader, was notified that it had won the open tender for the concession project of the Xianrenqiao water reuse plant and supporting pipeline network in Baoding.
The project mainly involves the investment, financing, construction, operation and maintenance of a water reuse plant with a designed capacity of 150,000 cubic metres per day, including a municipal sewage treatment system, a sludge treatment system and a 30,000-cubic-metre rainwater and sewage emergency storage system, plus about 13.4 km of sewage trunk mains, about 3.7 km of water reuse pipelines and access roads and bridges. The concession period is expected to be 40 years, comprising a two-year construction period and 38 years of operation. No definitive agreement has been entered into as at the announcement date.
