CSPC PHARMA (01093.HK): SYS6055 In Vivo CAR-T Trial Starts
- The Phase I/II trial SYS6055-003 targets relapsed or refractory B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma and has started in China.
- SYS6055 is an in vivo CAR-T product generating CD19-targeting cells via a lentiviral vector.
NewTimeSpace News: On 6 November 2026, CSPC Pharmaceutical Group Limited (Stock Code: 1093) announced that the Phase I/II trial (SYS6055-003) of SYS6055 injection for relapsed or refractory B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma has started at its first site in China.
The announcement shows that SYS6055 is an in vivo CAR-T product that uses a lentiviral vector to generate CD19-targeting CAR-T cells directly in the body, which specifically recognise and clear target cells. Compared with conventional CAR-T products, it may offer advantages in cost, accessibility and immediacy. In an earlier Phase I/II trial in relapsed or refractory aggressive B-cell lymphoma, it showed good safety and preliminary efficacy signals, and that trial continues. The Group received NMPA clinical trial approval in October 2026 and then launched SYS6055-003 to assess safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics and preliminary efficacy.
