CSPC PHARMA (01093.HK): SYS6057 RSV vaccine Phase I begins

NewTimeSpace News: On 2 November 2026, CSPC Pharmaceutical Group Limited (stock code: 01093) said the Phase I clinical trial of SYS6057, its recombinant respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccine (CHO cells), has officially started in China. The vaccine is intended to prevent lower respiratory tract disease caused by RSV, and its preclinical efficacy, pharmacokinetic and toxicology studies have been completed.
Preclinical results showed good challenge protection against both RSV A and B subtypes, high neutralising antibody activity and durable protection. The group received the clinical trial approval notice from the National Medical Products Administration in July 2026 and then launched the randomised, blinded, placebo-controlled Phase I trial to assess safety and immunogenicity in people aged 18 and above. Recruitment and screening are progressing.
