ORBUSNEICH (06929.HK): completes buyout of Italian distributor MC Health

NewTimeSpace News: On 20 October 2026, OrbusNeich Medical Group Holdings Limited (stock code: 06929) said it completed the acquisition of 100% equity interest in MC Health S.r.l., its distributor in Italy, on 15 October 2026. MC Health has become a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Group.
Italy is one of Europe's key interventional cardiology markets, with approximately 157,000 percutaneous coronary intervention procedures performed annually. The acquisition moves the Group's local business to a direct sales model, which it said will deepen customer relationships and improve market responsiveness. Following completion, the Group has immediately established a direct sales presence in Italy through MC Health's nationwide cath lab coverage.
Since listing in Hong Kong in 2022, the Group has accelerated the expansion of its global direct sales network, acquiring its Indonesian distributor in 2023 and its Taiwan distributor in 2025, and setting up teams in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg earlier this year. With Italy joining, the Group now has direct sales operations in 16 markets worldwide. The sellers are third parties independent of the Company, and as all applicable percentage ratios are below 5%, the transaction does not constitute a discloseable transaction under Chapter 14 of the Listing Rules.
