Huaneng Power International(00902.HK): Completes Issuance of the 10th Tranche of Super & Short-term Commercial Paper (SCP) of 2026 with Principal of RMB 3 Billion

NewTimeSpace News: On 15 July 2026, Huaneng Power International(00902.HK) issued an announcement that the Company recently completed the issuance of the 10th tranche of Super & Short-term Commercial Paper (SCP) of 2026. The issuance principal stands at RMB 3 billion with a tenor of 99 days, a par value of RMB 100 per unit and a coupon rate of 1.34%.

The notes were publicly offered to institutional investors on the China Interbank Bond Market via bookbuilding and centralized placement, with Industrial Bank Co., Ltd., Minsheng Bank and Agricultural Bank of China acting as the principal underwriters.

The raised funds will be used to supplement working capital, optimize debt structure, repay bank borrowings and outstanding bonds maturing shortly.
