Big Catering HKEX IPO Application Lapsed, Leading Domestic Pizza Operator in China

NewTimeSpace News: The Hong Kong listing application of Big Catering International Holding Co., Ltd. submitted on 16 January 2026 has lapsed upon expiry of the six-month validity period. BOC International acted as the original sole sponsor. According to CIC data, measured by GMV for the nine months ended 30 September 2025, the Company ranked first among domestic pizza restaurants, buffet restaurants and western casual dining operators in China. As of the latest practicable date, the Group operated 387 restaurants covering 127 cities across Chinese mainland.

NewTimeSpace News: The listing application submitted by Big Catering International Holding Co., Ltd. to HKEX on 16 January 2026 has lapsed following the expiration of the six-month timeline. BOC International served as the original sole sponsor.

The Company is China’s leading pizza buffet brand. Per CIC research, based on GMV for the nine months ended 30 September 2025, the Group secured the top position among domestic pizza restaurants, buffet restaurants and western casual dining restaurants in China. It is one of the earliest restaurant chains in China to launch and popularise fruit pizzas, with durian pizza and lychee pizza established as signature bestsellers.

As at 30 September 2025, the Company operated a total of 342 restaurants across 105 cities in 28 provinces of China, including 265 self-operated outlets. Up to the latest practicable date, the store network expanded to 387 restaurants covering 127 cities. Revenue rose from RMB944 million in 2023 to RMB1.147 billion in 2024, and reached approximately RMB1.389 billion for the nine months ended 30 September 2025, representing a year-on-year increase of 66.7%. Same-store sales of self-operated restaurants grew by 5.1% from 2023 to 2024, and increased by 16.0% comparing the first three quarters of 2024 with the first three quarters of 2025.
