NewTimeSpace News: On 4 November 2026, The United Laboratories International Holdings Limited (stock code: 03933) said in a voluntary announcement that the marketing application for semaglutide injection for weight management filed by its wholly-owned subsidiary Zhuhai United Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd. has been accepted by China's National Medical Products Administration.
Semaglutide injection is a long-acting recombinant human glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) analogue given by weekly subcutaneous injection, used mainly for glycaemic control in type 2 diabetes, long-term weight management in obese or overweight patients, reducing major cardiovascular events, and treating MASH with moderate to severe liver fibrosis. The company filed the diabetes indication in January 2025 and had it accepted.
