NewTimeSpace News: On 2 November 2026, Simcere Pharmaceutical Group Limited (stock code: 02096) said it has expanded its collaboration with Lynk Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd. on zemprocitinib, a selective JAK1 inhibitor, securing exclusive commercialisation rights in mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan for moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis in adults and other dermatological indications. The two first partnered in March 2022 for rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis rights in the same territories.
Zemprocitinib is an oral, highly selective second-generation JAK1 inhibitor. Its pivotal Phase III study in atopic dermatitis is complete and the new drug application was accepted by the Center for Drug Evaluation in April 2026. The Phase III study in rheumatoid arthritis is complete, while the ankylosing spondylitis Phase III programme is ongoing. The company said the deal will broaden its autoimmune portfolio.
