(stock code: 02696.HK) announced that it signed a collaboration and licence agreement with Amberstone Biosciences, Inc. covering the research, development, manufacturing and commercialisation of two T cell engager (TCE) products for all human uses worldwide, based on Amberstone's proprietary T-MATE platform. Amberstone granted a sublicensable exclusive licence, with early-stage R&D on two Company-designated targets before the Company takes over.

The Company will pay an upfront payment of USD 4 million, R&D and development and regulatory milestones of up to USD 232.16 million, sales milestones of up to USD 652 million, plus single-digit royalties on annual net sales. The agreement runs until the latest of 10 years from first commercial sale, the expiry of the last valid claim and the expiry of market exclusivity. Amberstone, founded in the US in 2018, focuses on oncology antibody therapies.
