(02696.HK) voluntarily announced that, pursuant to the results of the quarterly review of the Hang Seng Index Series as of 30 June 2026 announced by Hang Seng Indexes Company Limited on 21 August 2026, the company has been selected and will be included as a constituent of the Hang Seng Composite Index, effective from 7 September 2026.

The Hang Seng Composite Index provides a comprehensive indicator of the Hong Kong market, covering the top 95% of the total market capitalisation of securities listed on the Main Board of the Stock Exchange. Following inclusion as a Hang Seng Composite Index constituent, the company's H shares are expected to meet the inclusion criteria for Stock Connect southbound stocks under the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect and Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect.
