New round of southbound Stock Connect target adjustments: 54 added, 15 removed

The Shanghai and Shenzhen exchanges have simultaneously adjusted the southbound Stock Connect eligible list, effective from September 7, with 54 stocks added (including MANYCORE TECH, BIDU-SW, HENLIUS and HARBIN ELECTRIC) and 15 removed (including MING YUAN CLOUD, NISSIN FOODS and YIDU TECH).

Newly listed names and biotech stocks were the mainstay of the intake. Besides BIDU-SW (09888) leading the list, large caps such as HARBIN ELECTRIC (01133) and HENLIUS (02696) also gained inclusion, along with over 10 biotech stocks that are not yet profitable, including ASCLETIS-B (01672), HBM HOLDINGS-B (02142), CSTONE PHARMA-B (02616), RIBOLIFE (06938), IMPACT THERAP-B (07630) and ALEBUND-B (09637), as well as tech names listed in recent years such as MANYCORE TECH (00068), AXERA (00600) and HQVT (01392).

On the removal side, 15 stocks were taken off the list, including MING YUAN CLOUD (00909), NISSIN FOODS (01475), YIDU TECH (02158) and REFIRE (02570).
