CARSGEN-B (02171.HK): Universal CAR-T product CT1190B receives NMPA IND approval for treatment of relapsed/refractory large B-cell lymphoma
NewTimeSpace News: CARsgen Therapeutics Holdings Limited (stock code: 02171) published a voluntary announcement, announcing that CT1190B, an allogeneic universal CAR-T cell product targeting CD19/CD20, has received investigational new drug (IND) approval from the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) for the treatment of patients with relapsed or refractory large B-cell lymphoma (R/R LBCL) who have failed at least two lines of standard therapy.
CT1190B was developed based on CARsgen's THANK-u Plus platform and is currently being studied in an investigator-initiated trial (IIT) for relapsed or refractory B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma, with the IIT results presented as a poster at the 2026 annual meeting of the European Hematology Association. CARsgen is a biopharmaceutical company focused on developing innovative CAR-T cell therapies to address unmet clinical needs, including haematological malignancies, solid tumours and autoimmune diseases, with end-to-end capabilities from target discovery, preclinical research and clinical development to commercial-scale manufacturing.
The announcement also noted that, pursuant to Rule 18A.05 of the Listing Rules, the Company cannot ensure that CT1190B will be successfully developed or ultimately sold, and shareholders and potential investors should exercise caution when dealing in the shares of the Company.
