On 26 Oct 2026, CARSGEN-B (02171.HK) said Phase Ib results of CT041 in gastric cancer were shown as an ESMO poster, without data being disclosed.

NewTimeSpace News: On 26 October 2026, CARsgen Therapeutics Holdings Limited (stock code: 2171) published a voluntary announcement that preliminary results from a clinical trial in China of CT041 (satri-cel injection, product code CT041, a Claudin18.2-targeted autologous CAR-T cell therapy candidate) as consolidation therapy after adjuvant treatment in patients with Claudin18.2-positive gastric or gastroesophageal junction cancer following curative resection (CT041-CG4010, NCT06857786) were presented as a poster at the 2026 Congress of the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) on 25 October 2026.

The poster was entitled "Satricabtagene autoleucel (satri-cel) as consolidation therapy following adjuvant treatment for locally advanced gastric or gastroesophageal junction cancer (G/GEJC): preliminary results from a phase Ib trial", with further details available on the Company's website. The announcement did not disclose specific efficacy or safety data from the study.

CT041 is a world-first Claudin18.2-targeted autologous CAR-T product approved by the National Medical Products Administration in June 2026 for Claudin18.2-positive, HER2-negative advanced gastric/gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma that has failed at least two prior lines of therapy, making it the world's first approved CAR-T therapy for a solid tumour. The Company is expanding its use into earlier lines and the perioperative setting, including a Phase I trial in pancreatic cancer adjuvant therapy (NCT05911217), consolidation after adjuvant treatment in G/GEJA (NCT06857786) and sequential therapy after first-line treatment (NCT07179484), among investigator-initiated trials.
