CARsgen Therapeutics (02171.HK) CT041 Postoperative Adjuvant Therapy Study Results Accepted for ESMO 2026 Poster Presentation

CARsgen Therapeutics announced on July 15 that preliminary positive results of the CT041-CG4010 IIT trial for postoperative adjuvant consolidation therapy for G/GEJA have been accepted for poster presentation at the 2026 ESMO Congress, with the abstract to be published on October 19. Since enrollment began in May 2025, no participants have experienced postoperative recurrence or metastasis. Satri-cel was approved in June 2026 as the world's first solid tumor CAR-T cell therapy product.

NewTimeSpace News: CARsgen Therapeutics Holdings Limited (02171.HK) announced on July 15 in a voluntary announcement that the preliminary positive results of the investigator-initiated clinical trial (CT041-CG4010, NCT06857786) of CT041 (satri-cel,舒瑞基奥仑赛注射液), an autologous CAR-T cell therapy candidate product targeting Claudin18.2, conducted in China for postoperative adjuvant consolidation therapy after radical surgery for gastric/gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma (G/GEJA), have been accepted for poster presentation at the 2026 European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Congress. The abstract will be published on the ESMO official website on Monday, October 19, 2026 at 00:05 CEST.

Since the initiation of patient enrollment in May 2025 and up to the date of the announcement, none of the participants who received satri-cel treatment experienced postoperative recurrence or metastasis of gastric cancer.

Satri-cel is a globally first-in-class autologous CAR-T cell therapy product targeting Claudin18.2 protein for the treatment of Claudin18.2-positive solid tumors. Satri-cel was approved by the National Medical Products Administration in June 2026 for the treatment of Claudin18.2-positive, HER2-negative advanced G/GEJA after failure of at least second-line treatment, becoming the world's first approved solid tumor CAR-T cell therapy product.

The Company is actively expanding the application of satri-cel in earlier-line cancer treatment and perioperative treatment, including: a Phase I clinical trial in China for adjuvant therapy of pancreatic cancer (NCT05911217); an investigator-initiated clinical trial for consolidation therapy after radical surgery for G/GEJA adjuvant therapy (NCT06857786); and an investigator-initiated clinical trial for sequential therapy after first-line treatment for G/GEJA (NCT07179484).
