CGN Power (01816.HK): Huizhou Unit 2 Ready for Commercial Operation; Number of Operating Units Rises to 31

NewTimeSpace News: CGN POWER (01816.HK) released a voluntary announcement on 3 August 2026, stating that Unit 2 of CGN Huizhou Nuclear Power Co., Limited has finished all commissioning works and met the conditions for commercial operation. Huizhou Nuclear Power will complete formalities such as the Electricity Business Licence in accordance with relevant requirements. The date of commercial operation of the unit will generally be confirmed upon completion of such procedures.

After Huizhou Unit 2 commences commercial operation, the number of operating nuclear power units managed by the Company (including joint ventures) will increase to 31, and the installed capacity of operating units will grow from 34,248 MW to 35,450 MW. Huizhou Nuclear Power is a subsidiary of the Company.
