Its subsidiary Shandong Shengdi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. obtained the Drug Clinical Trial Approval Notice for HRS-1780 Tablets issued by the NMPA, which approves the launch of Phase II/III clinical trials for the treatment of uncontrolled hypertension and resistant hypertension.

According to the announcement, HRS-1780 Tablets is a mineralocorticoid receptor antagonist (MRA). MRAs are recommended as first-line add-on medicines beyond standard therapy for the management of resistant hypertension. The candidate is also being developed in parallel for clinical trials targeting chronic kidney disease and primary aldosteronism, with relevant research advanced to Phase II/III stages. The cumulative unaudited R&D investment totals approximately RMB 100.4 million.
