Hengrui Pharmaceuticals(01276.HK): Injection HRS9531 Obtains Clinical Trial Approval Notice

NewTimeSpace News: On 16 July 2026, Hengrui Pharmaceuticals(01276.HK) issued an announcement that Fujian Shengdi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., its subsidiary, has obtained the Clinical Trial Approval Notice for Injection HRS9531 from the NMPA, which approves the launch of Phase III clinical trials among adult patients with obesity combined with knee osteoarthritis.

Injection HRS9531 is a novel dual agonist targeting GIPR and GLP-1R with HRS9531 as its primary active ingredient. Its marketing application for long-term weight management in adults was accepted by the NMPA in September 2025.
