ZHAOKE OPHTH-B (06622.HK): Acquires Global Rights to NVK002 (Atropine Sulfate Eye Drops) to Fully Control Paediatric Myopia Programme Development

NewTimeSpace News: On 13 July 2026, ZHAOKE OPHTH-B (06622.HK) issued a voluntary announcement. The Company completed the acquisition of global rights to NVK002 (Atropine Sulfate Eye Drops) on 22 June 2026, securing worldwide ownership of all associated intellectual property, trademarks, regulatory filings, clinical data, manufacturing capabilities and other relevant assets. The candidate is intended to slow the progression of myopia in children.
As part of the transaction, the Company granted the vendor (subsequently assigned to Nevakar Pharmaceuticals) a perpetual royalty-free exclusive licence to develop and commercialise NVK002 in the United States. The Group originally entered into a licence agreement with Nevakar in October 2020 to obtain exclusive rights covering Greater China, South Korea and several Southeast Asian countries.
This acquisition supersedes the original licensing arrangement and consolidates rights to support the Company’s globalisation strategy. The Company reminds investors that no assurance can be given regarding the ultimate successful development or commercialisation of NVK002.
