Silver Grant International Holdings Group Limited: HKEX Takes Disciplinary Action Against Former Executive Director Wang Ping and Issues Director Unsuitability Statement

NewTimeSpace News: On 6 July 2026, HKEX issued a disciplinary notice targeting Mr. Wang Ping, former executive director of Silver Grant International Holdings Group Limited (former stock code: 00171.HK).

HKEX issued both a public reprimand and a director unsuitability statement against Mr. Wang. A director unsuitability statement signifies HKEX’s determination that the relevant individual is unfit to serve as a director or senior management member of the issuer or any of its subsidiary entities.

The Listing Committee ruled that the former director failed to cooperate with the Listing Division’s investigation, thereby breaching the Listing Rules, and committed serious dereliction of duty by failing to discharge his statutory obligations under the Listing Rules. The Listing Division previously sent an investigation letter and reminder letter to the director regarding his compliance with duties under the Listing Rules, yet he failed to respond to any inquiries raised by the Listing Division.

HKEX reminds all directors that even if an issuer has been delisted from HKEX or the individual ceases to hold a directorship with a listed issuer, they remain obligated to furnish information upon HKEX’s reasonable request.
