KINTOR PHARMA-B(09939.HK): KT-939 Shows Favorable Interim Data in Long-term Human Safety Trial, New Raw Material Registration Initiated

NewTimeSpace News: Kintor Pharmaceutical Limited (09939.HK) released a voluntary announcement on June 10, 2026, updating the latest progress of KT-939.
The long-term human safety trial is an open-label, single-arm and single-center study, designed to assess potential adverse skin reactions caused by long-term topical use of cosmetics containing KT-939. The interim results showed that all 119 subjects reported no adverse skin reactions after 28 consecutive weeks of administration, including cosmetic contact dermatitis, cosmetic photodermatitis, cosmetic pigmentary disorders, cosmetic contact urticaria and cosmetic acne, which fully proves the good safety of KT-939. The trial is expected to be completed in September this year.
For the new raw material registration, the Company has started to submit application documents on a rolling basis. Relevant technical materials have been formally delivered to the National Institutes for Food and Drug Control under the NMPA for technical review and communication. In accordance with the Regulations on the Supervision and Administration of Cosmetics implemented in 2021, new high-risk cosmetic raw materials such as those for freckle-removing and whitening can only be launched after obtaining registration approval from the NMPA.
In terms of business cooperation, collaborations with domestic and international cosmetic brands, raw material suppliers and end-product developers are steadily advancing. The Company looks forward to establishing strategic partnerships with more domestic and overseas whitening cosmetic enterprises.
In respect of intellectual property, the Company is accelerating the global patent protection for KT-939 and its analogues. Relevant PCT international patent applications have entered the examination phase in various countries.
