SSY Group Signs Letter of Intent with Longhai Pharma for Four Biosimilars Including Ustekinumab and Dupilumab
NewTimeSpace News: SSY Group Limited (02005.HK) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. has signed a letter of intent with Hebei Longhai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., reaching a preliminary agreement on potential cooperation for four biosimilars: ustekinumab, dupilumab, aflibercept injection and evolocumab. Longhai Pharma will complete all research work and transfer all technologies, patents and exclusive commercialization rights to Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical.
NewTimeSpace News: SSY Group Limited issued a voluntary announcement on June 5, 2026, disclosing that its wholly-owned subsidiary Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. has entered into a letter of intent with Hebei Longhai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. regarding potential cooperation on four biosimilars, namely ustekinumab, dupilumab, aflibercept injection and evolocumab.
Pursuant to the letter of intent, Longhai Pharma shall complete all research content for the project, including all pharmaceutical research materials, non-clinical research materials, registration filing documents and related intellectual property rights, and shall fully transfer all technologies and trade secrets, relevant patents (including application rights), registration filing data and exclusive commercialization rights of the project to Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical. Upon the signing of the formal contract and payment of the upfront payment by Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical, all intellectual property rights, Marketing Authorization Holder (MAH) qualifications and commercial interests related to the project shall be solely owned by Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical.
A 90-day exclusivity period shall commence from the date of signing the letter of intent, during which Longhai Pharma and its affiliates shall not contact or negotiate with any third party regarding the project. Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical shall have the right to conduct technical, legal and financial due diligence on the project, and the parties will negotiate and sign a formal technology transfer agreement subject to satisfactory due diligence results.
