NewTimeSpace News: On 16 September 2026, SSY Group Limited (stock code: 02005.HK) announced that the Group's ziprasidone mesylate has been approved by the National Medical Products Administration of the PRC for registration as an active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) for use in marketed formulations, with the API mainly used for the treatment of acute agitation in patients with schizophrenia.

The announcement disclosed that the approval further completes the Group's second-generation antipsychotic high-potency API (HPAPI) product matrix. The Group has established a leading second-generation antipsychotic HPAPI platform in the PRC, covering blonanserin, lurasidone, ziprasidone hydrochloride and the newly approved ziprasidone mesylate, continuously providing high-quality API supply chain support to domestic formulation manufacturers.
