DREAM GARDEN HKEX IPO Application Lapsed, Leading Domestic Brand Across Multiple Categories

NewTimeSpace News: The Hong Kong listing application of Shandong Huawutang Cosmetics Co., Ltd. (Dream Garden) submitted on 16 January 2026 has lapsed upon the expiry of the six-month validity period. CITIC Securities served as the original sole sponsor. According to Frost & Sullivan, measured by retail sales in 2024, the Company ranks first among domestic brands for body lotion, body scrub and cleansing mousse.

NewTimeSpace News: The listing application submitted by Shandong Huawutang Cosmetics Co., Ltd. to HKEX on 16 January 2026 has lapsed following the expiration of the six-month timeline. CITIC Securities acted as the original sole sponsor.

The Company operates Dream Garden, a distinguished Chinese skin and personal care brand recognised for sustained rapid growth and multi-category expansion. Founded in Jinan, Shandong in 2010, the brand focuses on botanical research and adheres to the brand philosophy of “beauty inspired by flowers”.

Per Frost & Sullivan data, based on retail sales in 2024, Dream Garden is the top domestic brand for body lotion, body scrub and cleansing mousse. Launched in 2015, the body scrub line recorded cumulative sales of approximately 37.7 million bottles as at 30 September 2025, ranking second in China’s body scrub market across all domestic and international brands and No.1 among domestic players. The body lotion series debuted in 2012, with cumulative sales reaching roughly 56.9 million bottles as at end-September 2025. It secured the eighth position in China’s body lotion market overall and leads all domestic brands in the segment.
