JIWUSIWEI HKEX Listing Application Lapses Upon Six-Month Expiry; Ranked No.1 Among China’s Gastropub Brands for Three Consecutive Years 2022–2024
NewTimeSpace News: The listing application submitted by Jiwusiwei Limited to HKEX on 9 January 2026 has lapsed following the expiry of the six-month validity period. CICC and BOCI Global Securities acted as the original joint sponsors. Its flagship brand COMMUNE ranks as China’s top gastropub brand. According to Frost & Sullivan, measured by revenue, COMMUNE secured the No.1 position among domestic gastropub brands for three successive years from 2022 to 2024, capturing a market share of approximately 7.8% in 2024.
NewTimeSpace News: The listing application filed by Jiwusiwei Limited with The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited on 9 January 2026 has lapsed upon expiration of the six-month validity window. China International Capital Corporation and BOCI Global Securities served as the original joint sponsors for the application.
The Group operates COMMUNE, a gastropub concept brand that combines artisanal beverages, curated cuisine and thoughtfully designed ambient spaces, aiming to redefine dining, drinking and social gathering experiences. As at 30 September 2025, the Group ran 112 self-operated gastropubs across 40 cities nationwide, among which 109 outlets operated under the COMMUNE brand.
Per Frost & Sullivan research data, ranked by operating revenue, COMMUNE was ranked first among all gastropub brands in China for three consecutive years between 2022 and 2024. It held roughly 7.8% market share in 2024, equivalent to around twice the combined market share of the second and third-largest competitors.
