BRII-B (02137.HK): presents ENRICH and ENHANCE Phase II data at AASLD, combo achieving up to 41.9% HBsAg clearance

NewTimeSpace News: On 6 November 2026, Brii Biosciences Limited (02137.HK) announced voluntarily that it presented end-of-treatment (EOT) and follow-up results from its Phase IIb ENRICH and ENHANCE studies in three late-breaking presentations at the AASLD Liver Meeting held in Denver, Colorado, the US, from 5 to 9 November 2026.

Across the two dosing regimens in the ENRICH study, 41.9% of participants achieved HBsAg clearance at EOT and 32.4% maintained clearance 24 weeks after EOT. In Part A1 of the ENHANCE study, the BRII-179, elebsiran and PEG-IFNα triple combination achieved an HBsAg clearance rate of 25.5% at EOT, higher than 10.2% with PEG-IFNα monotherapy; in Part A2, the sequential strategy shortened the PEG-IFNα course by 50% with a 22.5% clearance rate at EOT.

The treatment regimens were generally safe and well tolerated. These results further enriched the data accumulated from five Phase II studies of BRII-179, providing a basis for combination regimens aimed at a functional cure for hepatitis B.
