LEADS BIOLABS-B (09887.HK): Six Abstracts on Weilixin and LBL-034 Published at ESMO 2026; Three Chosen for Oral Presentations
NewTimeSpace News: On 19 October 2026, Nanjing Leads Biolabs Co., Ltd. (the "Company") voluntarily announced that the full abstracts of six studies (covering clinical research, translational research and meta-analysis) on its self-developed Weilixin (anti-PD-L1/4-1BB bispecific antibody) and LBL-034 (GPRC5D/CD3 bispecific T-cell engager) have been published on the official website of the 2026 Annual Meeting of the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO); three of the studies were selected for preferred oral presentations at ESMO 2026, one of which was selected as a late-breaking abstract (LBA), with detailed and updated data to be released during the oral presentations.
The announcement disclosed that, in first-line treatment of extrapulmonary neuroendocrine carcinoma (EP-NEC; abstract No. 5836), 69 patients with previously untreated advanced disease were enrolled as of 3 April 2026, of whom 65 were efficacy-evaluable, with a median follow-up of 16.9 months; median duration of response across all dose levels reached 10.2 months and median overall survival had not matured; median duration of response was 15.5 months and 10.2 months in the 6 mg/kg and 15 mg/kg cohorts, with 15-month overall survival rates of 63.6% and 58.4% respectively; among PD-L1-positive (CPS≥1) patients, the 15-month overall survival rate was 66.7% in both cohorts, versus 57.1% and 53.6% in PD-L1-negative patients. No dose-limiting toxicities were observed, treatment-related adverse events were mainly chemotherapy-induced myelosuppression, and no severe hepatotoxicity occurred. In first-line treatment of biliary tract cancer (abstract No. 5649), 20 advanced patients were enrolled in the safety run-in, with an overall objective response rate of 55.0%, a disease control rate of 100.0% and an objective response rate of 100.0% among PD-L1-positive patients.
The Company stated that, for LBL-034 in relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma (abstract No. 4727), 56 heavily pretreated patients were enrolled as of 31 March 2026, with a median of five prior lines of therapy, 73.2% triple-class exposed and 23.2% with extramedullary disease; among 55 evaluable patients with a median follow-up of 16.0 months, median progression-free survival was 15.8 months; at 400-1,200 μg/kg the 18-month PFS rate was 58.0%, and among the 23 patients achieving complete response or better the 18-month PFS rate was 87.7%, with a minimal residual disease negativity rate of 72.7% at 10^-5 sensitivity; in high-risk patients with extramedullary disease, the objective response rate was 75.0% and median PFS 11.5 months; only one case of grade 3 or above cytokine release syndrome occurred and there were no treatment-related deaths. In addition, the translational study of Weilixin in microsatellite-stable colorectal cancer (abstract No. 5512) showed tumour growth inhibition rates of 69.27%, 94.53% and 99.84% at 2, 8 and 30 mg/kg, with complete tumour regression in two of five mice in the 30 mg/kg group.
