On 19 Oct 2026, ZIJIN GOLD INTL (02259.HK) posted 9M revenue of US$5.81bn (+70%) and attributable profit of US$2.01bn (+123%), with gold output up 28%.

NewTimeSpace News: On 19 October 2026, Zijin Gold International Company Limited (the "Company") published its unaudited financial information and operating update for the nine months ended 30 September 2026. During the reporting period, the Group produced approximately 41 tonnes of mine-produced gold, up about 28% year on year, while revenue, profit attributable to owners of the parent and net cash flows from operating activities grew about 70%, 123% and 157% respectively, reflecting the effectiveness of resource integration and refined operational management as well as stable operation of mature mines and synergies from newly acquired mines.

The announcement disclosed the key financial data prepared under IFRS (in US$'000): revenue of 5,808,751 (3,414,977 a year earlier), up 70%; profit before tax of 3,300,074 (1,515,038), up 118%; profit for the period of 2,306,109 (1,095,408), up 111%; profit attributable to owners of the parent of 2,014,651 (905,082), up 123%; and net cash flows from operating activities of 2,777,867 (1,081,149), up 157%. As of 30 September 2026, total assets were 13,861,307 (12,567,477 at end-2025), up 10%; equity attributable to owners of the parent was 9,432,861 (8,374,465), up 13%; net current assets were 4,110,157 (3,864,888), up 6%; and the gearing ratio was 27.5% (29.2% at end-2025), down 1.7 percentage points.

The Company stated that the Group's all-in sustaining cost (AISC) for the period was US$1,649 per ounce (US$1,574 a year earlier), up 5% year on year and remaining at a leading level in the global gold industry; the increase was mainly due to higher royalties calculated on gold prices as bullion prices rose sharply, as well as higher market prices for certain raw and auxiliary materials. The Group's eight producing controlled mines operated broadly steadily, with some mines running slightly slower in the third quarter of 2026 due to temporary factors such as equipment maintenance and changes in geological conditions. In the third quarter the Group proactively carried out technical upgrades and equipment improvements to underpin long-term capacity, including repair of the hollow shaft of the ball mill at the Paddington plant of Norton Gold Fields, slope treatment at the Aurora open pit, extension drilling at Jilau/Taror of Zeravshan, and additional mining and stripping equipment at Rui Guo Duo. The Group said it will continue to raise mine-produced gold output, optimise recovery rates and control costs in the fourth quarter of 2026, while advancing upgrade and expansion projects and stepping up exploration. The above data are based on the Company's records and management accounts and have not been audited or reviewed by the auditors.
