CHINA RAILWAY (00390.HK): Appoints Zhong Jun as Board Secretary
NewTimeSpace News: On 13 October 2026, China Railway Group Limited (stock code: 00390.HK) announced that Mr. Zhong Jun has been appointed as secretary to the board and joint company secretary with effect from 13 October 2026 until the expiry of the sixth session of the board, while Mr. Tan Zhenzhong will continue as the other joint company secretary. The interim arrangement under which chairman Chen Wenjian acted as board secretary ceased the same day.
Mr. Zhong Jun, aged 54, is a PRC national and director of the board office, having joined the Group in July 1994 and later serving as chairman of China Railway No.8 Engineering Group. As he does not hold the company secretary qualification under Rule 3.28, the Company obtained a three-year waiver from strict compliance with Rules 3.28 and 8.17, conditional on his being assisted by Mr. Tan Zhenzhong and revocable if the Company seriously breaches the Listing Rules.
