(stock code: 01276) announced that the Company and its subsidiary Fujian Shengdia Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. received a Drug Clinical Trial Approval Notice from the National Medical Products Administration for HRS-4729 injection, approving a Phase II clinical trial in chronic kidney disease, with acceptance numbers CXHL2600851 and CXHL2600852 and an application accepted on 14 July 2026. On the same day, its subsidiary Fujian Shengdia Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. received an approval notice for HRS-1596 tablets, approving clinical trials for the weight management indication and the type 2 diabetes indication, with application accepted on 8 July 2026.
HRS-4729 injection is a polypeptide drug independently developed by the Company and a glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor (GLP-1R) / glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide receptor (GIPR) / glucagon receptor (GCGR) triple agonist. By activating GLP-1R, GIPR and GCGR, it acts to suppress appetite, delay gastric emptying, enhance insulin sensitivity and promote fat breakdown and energy expenditure, and through weight loss, improved insulin resistance and reduced ectopic renal fat the three targets may synergistically reduce renal metabolic burden and thereby improve renal function. No comparable drug has been approved for marketing in the PRC or overseas, and cumulative research and development investment in the project was approximately RMB 87.6 million (unaudited).
HRS-1596 tablets are a Class 1 new drug independently developed by the Company and demonstrated effective weight loss and improvement in blood glucose-related indicators in obesity and diabetes animal efficacy models. Based on available information, no oral drug with the same target has been approved for marketing in the PRC or overseas, and cumulative research and development investment was approximately RMB 18.4 million (unaudited). The Company noted that a drug may only be manufactured and launched after clinical trials are conducted and reviewed and approved by the National Medical Products Administration, and that drug development is long-cycle and subject to uncertainties.
