MONGOLIA ENERGY (00276.HK): Discloseable Transaction on Construction Contracts for Khushuut Coal Mine

NewTimeSpace News: On 10 September 2026, Mongolia Energy Corporation Limited (Stock Code: 00276) announced that MoEnCo, its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, has entered into two construction contracts with Plumbing Development LLC, a Mongolian contractor, in respect of the Khushuut Coal Mine. The laboratory contract was signed on 10 September 2026 at a consideration of approximately MNT 1.501 billion (about HK$3.3027 million) with a construction period of 100 calendar days. The warehouse contract was signed on 26 August 2026 at a consideration of approximately MNT 1.326 billion (about HK$2.9168 million).

The aggregate consideration for the two contracts is approximately MNT 2.827 billion (about HK$6.2195 million). The contractor was selected as the lowest bidder and the payment will be funded from the Group’s internal resources. Both contracts have a construction period of 100 calendar days.

As the two contracts are awarded to the same contractor, they are required to be aggregated under Chapter 14 of the Listing Rules. The aggregated highest applicable percentage ratio is more than 5% but less than 25%, constituting a discloseable transaction of the Company, which is subject to the reporting and announcement requirements under Chapter 14.
