MONGOLIA ENERGY (00276.HK): enters into construction contracts for pipelines at Khushuut coal mine, total consideration approximately HKD 5.63 million

NewTimeSpace News: On 21 August 2026, MONGOLIA ENERGY (00276.HK) announced that its subsidiary MoEnCo entered into construction contracts for pipelines at the Khushuut coal mine with a total consideration of MNT 2,678,889,000 (approximately HKD 5.63 million), covering heating, water and sewage pipelines; as the percentage ratio is above 5% but below 25%, the contracts constitute a discloseable transaction.

NewTimeSpace News: On 21 August 2026, Mongolia Energy Corporation Limited (stock code: 00276) announced that its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary MoEnCo entered into construction contracts with the contractor "Orgil J Trade" LLC on 21 August 2026 for the construction of heating and water pipelines and sewage pipelines at the Khushuut coal mine, with a total consideration of MNT 2,678,889,000 (equivalent to approximately HKD 5,626,000).

According to the announcement, the construction contracts comprise two parts: Contract (1) for the construction of 1,502 meters of outdoor pipelines (heating and clean water) with a consideration of MNT 1,980,550,000 (approximately HKD 4,160,000), and Contract (2) for the construction of 1,090 meters of outdoor pipelines (for sewage and wastewater discharge) with a consideration of MNT 698,339,000 (approximately HKD 1,470,000), both with a construction period of 110 calendar days from commencement and a performance bond of 5% of the contract price. Under the Group's mining plan at the Khushuut coal mine, MoEnCo will use the current office area as a dumping area by 2027 or before, requiring relocation of existing offices and ancillary facilities to a new area within the mine, with the pipelines connecting the new office administrative area and industrial area.

The announcement states that the contractor was selected through public tender (with three bidders in total), and its contract price was the lowest among all bidders; as the highest applicable percentage ratio is above 5% but below 25%, the contracts constitute a discloseable transaction under Chapter 14 of the Listing Rules.
