IMAGI INT'L (00585.HK): Appoints Jin Mingyi as Executive Director, Corporate Compliance Vice President and General Counsel
NewTimeSpace News: On 8 September 2026, Imagi International Holdings Limited (stock code: 00585) announced the appointment of Mr. Jin Mingyi as an executive director and the company's corporate compliance vice president and general counsel, with effect from 8 September 2026.
According to the announcement, Mr. Jin, aged 49, obtained a master of laws degree from Tsinghua University in China in July 2003 and a master of laws degree from the University of Pennsylvania in the United States in May 2005, and was admitted to the New York State Bar in April 2010. With over 20 years of legal practice and corporate legal management experience, Mr. Jin practised at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe and Morrison & Foerster in the early stage of his career, and served as senior legal director of 360 Security Technology Inc. (601360.SH) from February 2014 to April 2020, participating in the company's US listing privatisation and A-share backdoor listing with a transaction scale of USD 9 billion and leading a RMB 20 billion syndicated loan for the privatisation buyer group. He subsequently served as vice president and general manager of the legal department of Nenglian Group, and general manager of the legal department of AsiaInfo Technologies Limited (688225.SH), supervising over one hundred litigation and dispute cases in the past decade with cumulative amounts exceeding RMB 1 billion.
Mr. Jin has entered into a three-year service contract with the company and is entitled to a director's fee of HKD 133,334 per month (excluding any additional service compensation and discretionary bonus) for serving as executive director and corporate compliance vice president and general counsel, as determined and approved by the remuneration committee and the board with reference to his professional background, qualifications and experience and subject to annual review. The board welcomed Mr. Jin to the company.
