CAPITAL ENV (03989.HK): Plans to Invest RMB 254.15 Million in Waste-to-Energy Heating and Steam Project in Yanjin County

NewTimeSpace News: On 21 August 2026, Capital Environment Holdings Limited (03989.HK) voluntarily announced that Shenzhen Qianhai Capital Environment Investment Co., Ltd., its wholly-owned subsidiary, plans to invest in and construct a waste incineration heating and steam supply project in Yanjin County, Xinxiang City, Henan Province, with a total project investment of RMB 254.15 million. Qianhai Capital Environment will establish a wholly-owned subsidiary, Yanjin County Capital Environment Heating Co., Ltd. (name subject to industrial and commercial registration), to be responsible for the commissioned operation of the project, with a registered capital of approximately RMB 76.25 million.

The project is located within the core manufacturing cluster of Xinxiang City, where industrial steam demand is substantial, and letters of intent for steam supply cooperation have been reached with the operators of the municipal steam pipeline networks of the Yanjin County Advanced Manufacturing Development Zone and the Xinxiang Economic Development Zone. The project has an operation period of 29 years, with returns mainly derived from steam supply income and waste treatment service fee income. Upon completion, it will treat 500 tonnes of waste per day and produce 250,000 tonnes of high-quality steam per year, effectively filling the regional steam supply gap.
