LONGBIO-B (01779.HK): BLA of LP-003 for seasonal allergic rhinitis accepted by NMPA
NewTimeSpace News: On 21 August 2026, LongBio Pharma (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. (stock code: 01779) announced in a voluntary announcement that the biologics license application (BLA) of LP-003 for the indication of seasonal allergic rhinitis has been accepted by China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA).
According to the announcement, LP-003 is an anti-IgE antibody with a novel sequence design, targeting allergic diseases including seasonal allergic rhinitis, chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU), allergic asthma, chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP) and food allergy, with its main function being to block free IgE in the blood and tissues to inhibit IgE-mediated allergic reactions. The Company has obtained IND approvals and/or initiated clinical trials for LP-003 across multiple indications in China, and the IND application of LP-003 for peanut allergy has also been approved by the US FDA. The Company is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company founded in 2020, focusing on the discovery and development of biologics for allergic and autoimmune diseases.
