NT PHARMA (01011.HK): arbitration award requires payment of approximately RMB 92 million, Company initiates procedures to set aside the award
NewTimeSpace News: On 18 August 2026, China NT Pharma Group Company Limited (stock code: 01011) announced in an inside information announcement that it received on 20 July 2026 an arbitration award (〔2026〕China MAI Jing Cai Zi No. 1519) from the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC). The arbitration arose from guarantee arrangements under the 2020 asset transaction project signed with the relevant parties of Beijing Kangen Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. in 2020, with the relevant equity transfer having been completed in 2020.
According to the announcement, the award orders the Company and relevant jointly liable parties to pay liquidated damages, related costs and arbitration cost apportionment totaling approximately RMB 92 million. The Company holds material objections to the award and has engaged a compliance legal team to initiate statutory procedures including applying to set aside the award. The award is currently within the statutory period for applying to set it aside, and the payment obligation has not yet entered the enforcement stage; the Group is carefully assessing the potential financial impact in light of the liability apportionment arrangements among jointly liable parties and the responsibility boundaries of entities that have completed bankruptcy reorganization, with its daily operations and cash flow remaining normal.
