NewTimeSpace News: CanSino Biologics announced on August 16 that the new drug application (NDA) for its self-developed adsorbed acellular (five-component) diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis combined vaccine for adolescents and adults, Td5cp, has been accepted for review by the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA).

NewTimeSpace News: On August 16, 2026, CanSino Biologics (06185.HK) announced that the NDA for its self-developed Td5cp (a booster diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis vaccine for populations aged 6 years and above) for adolescents and adults has been accepted for review by the NMPA and has been granted priority review status.

CanSino Biologics stated that Td5cp is a five-component pertussis-containing vaccine, which adds two additional pertussis antigen components compared to the company's already approved DT3cP vaccine for infants. Each antigen can be separately purified and formulated at determined ratios, ensuring batch-to-batch consistency in product quality.
