DIDA INC (02559.HK): Fully Redeemed USD 10,999,900 Bond Fund, Realised Gain of USD 355,516
NewTimeSpace News: On 11 August 2026, Dida Inc. (stock code: 02559) announced that Amazing Journey Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, has fully redeemed its investment in the CICC Short-Term Investment Grade Bond Fund with a principal amount of USD 10,999,900.
According to the announcement, on 27 October 2025, Amazing Journey Limited subscribed for units in the CICC Short-Term Investment Grade Bond Fund (a fixed income fund) managed by CICC Hong Kong Asset Management, with a principal amount of USD 10,999,900. As of the date of the announcement, Amazing Journey Limited has completed the full redemption of its investment in the fund and realised an unaudited gain of USD 355,516 from the redemption, being the difference between the subscription amount and the redemption proceeds.
In terms of the implications under the Listing Rules, as the highest applicable percentage ratio exceeds 5% but all applicable percentage ratios are below 25%, the redemption constitutes a discloseable transaction of the company and is subject to the notification and announcement requirements, but is exempt from the shareholders' approval requirement. CICC Hong Kong Asset Management is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China International Capital Corporation Limited (stock codes: 03908.HK and 601995.SH), licensed by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission to conduct Type 1 (dealing in securities), Type 4 (advising on securities) and Type 9 (asset management) regulated activities, and is an independent third party from the company and its connected persons. The Board considers that the Group initially subscribed for the fund with idle cash generated from business operations to make full use of its idle funds while balancing returns and maintaining high liquidity and low risk; given the fund's recent performance, the redemption offers the Group a favourable opportunity to realise the investment, thereby releasing funds to explore other potential opportunities in the market, and the terms of the redemption are fair and reasonable and in the interests of the company and its shareholders as a whole.
