CARsgen Therapeutics(02171.HK): CT0596 Secures NMPA IND Approval for Treatment of R/R MM

NewTimeSpace News: CARsgen Therapeutics announced on August 4 that CT0596, the Company’s allogeneic CAR-T cell product targeting BCMA, has obtained IND approval from the NMPA for the treatment of patients with relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma.

NewTimeSpace News: On August 4, 2026, CARsgen Therapeutics(02171.HK) announced that CT0596 has been granted IND approval by the NMPA for the treatment of patients with relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma.

According to the announcement, CT0596 is currently under evaluation via investigator-initiated trials (IIT) in relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma or plasma cell leukaemia. The Company also plans to further explore its application in other plasma cell neoplasms and autoimmune diseases driven by autoreactive plasma cells.
