Eastroc Beverage (09980.HK): Proposed Foreign Exchange Derivatives Transactions with Maximum Contract Value Capped at RMB 1 Billion

NewTimeSpace News: Eastroc Beverage announced on 30 July that the Company intends to conduct foreign exchange derivatives transactions with financial institutions including banks. The maximum contract value held on any single trading day shall not exceed RMB 1 billion or equivalent foreign currencies, while the ceiling for margins and premiums deployed shall not surpass RMB 100 million.

NewTimeSpace News: On 30 July 2026, Eastroc Beverage (09980.HK) issued an announcement. To effectively hedge foreign exchange market risks and lock in costs, the Company plans to launch foreign exchange derivatives transactions covering varieties such as currency swaps, foreign exchange forwards, foreign exchange swaps and foreign exchange options, valid for 12 months from the date of approval by the Board of Directors.

Eastroc Beverage stated that the total margins and option premiums to be used shall not exceed RMB 100 million, and the maximum contract value held on any trading day shall be capped at RMB 1 billion. The capital may be recycled and rolled over, sourced from internal self-owned funds or self-raised funds.
