BASiC Semiconductor(09971.HK): Signs Construction Contract for Silicon Carbide Module Packaging Production Line Base Worth Approximately RMB 193 Million
NewTimeSpace News: On 28 July 2026, BASiC Semiconductor(09971.HK) issued an announcement. The Company signed an EPC general contracting contract with China Construction Second Engineering Bureau Ltd. on 27 July. The contractor will undertake the construction project of the Company’s silicon carbide module packaging production line base located in Pingshan District, Shenzhen City, with a total contract value of approximately RMB 193 million.
As stated in the announcement, the project boasts a total construction area of 59,357.54 square metres, including supporting facilities such as workshops, office buildings and staff dormitories. BASiC Semiconductorstated that this construction project will support the Company to meet market demands from downstream sectors including new energy vehicles, intelligent computing centres, photovoltaic power generation and energy storage.
