NewTimeSpace News: On 17 July 2026, Befar Group(06074.HK) issued an announcement stating that the Company intends to develop and build a 70,000-tonne-per-year halogenated butyl rubber project via its wholly-owned subsidiary Binhua New Materials. This project serves as Phase I of the integrated 250,000-tonne-per-year special rubber project, while Phase II construction will be scheduled at an appropriate time subject to market conditions.
Located in Beihai Economic Development Zone, Binzhou City, Shandong Province, the project features a 2-year construction cycle and a total investment of RMB 1.822 billion. Construction is expected to commence on 30 June 2027.
