SHANXI INSTALL (02520.HK): Signs EPC Contract for 500MW PV Project in Oman Worth Approximately RMB1.5 Billion, First Key Project in Middle East

NewTimeSpace News: SHANXI INSTALL (02520.HK) announced on 15 July that it has secured the EPC general contracting deal for Phase 1 Al Kamil 500MW photovoltaic project in Oman with a contract value of around RMB1.5 billion, marking the Group’s first major executed project in the Middle East. Developed by EDF Power Solution SA, the scope includes two and a half years of operation and maintenance services. The win represents substantial progress in strategic cooperation with EDF Group and will strengthen the Group’s international operation capabilities and profitability. NewTimeSpace News: On 15 July 2026, SHANXI INSTALL (02520.HK) issued a voluntary announcement. The Group signed an overseas EPC general contracting agreement on 14 July 2026 and was awarded the Phase 1 Al Kamil 500MW photovoltaic project in Oman, with a contract value of approximately RMB1.5 billion. This is the Group’s first key implemented project in the Middle East region.

Located in Al Kamil Wal Wafi, Oman, the project scope covers design, fabrication, procurement, supply, transportation, installation, construction, connection to high-voltage substation, testing and commissioning of the photovoltaic power station, alongside two and a half years of operation and maintenance services.

The power purchaser is Oman Power and Water Procurement Company, while the developer is EDF Power Solution SA. The Company stated that the contract award signifies the Group’s successful entry into the Middle East new energy market. It constitutes a landmark achievement translating the strategic framework cooperation with EDF Group into tangible execution, and will boost the Group’s international operational capacity and profitability.
