As stated in the announcement, Chengdu New Century Women & Children’s Hospital is a non-wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, providing women’s and children’s medical services in Chengdu following its acquisition in 2018. It is confronted with mounting operational challenges amid the prevailing economic backdrop, sustained decline in birth rates and intense market competition.

As at the date of this announcement, the hospital recorded an annual loss of roughly RMB45.9 million for 2025 and has not contributed any operating profit to the Group since acquisition. The Group has held discussions with the landlord to seek rent abatement or remission without substantive progress so far.

The Board has instructed management to promptly adopt alternative cost-cutting and profitability-enhancement measures, and will evaluate the viability of continuing the hospital’s operations.
