SSY GROUP(02005.HK): NMPA Grants Manufacturing Approval for Safinamide Mesylate Tablets and Procaterol Hydrochloride Inhalation Solution
NewTimeSpace News: SSY Group Limited (02005.HK) announced that the Group has obtained manufacturing registration approvals from the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) for two pharmaceutical products. Safinamide Mesylate Tablets (100mg & 50mg), classified as Class 4 chemical drugs and deemed to have passed consistency evaluation, make SSY the third domestic pharmaceutical firm to secure approval for this product. Meanwhile, Procaterol Hydrochloride Inhalation Solution (0.3ml:30μg), a Class 3 chemical drug, also received registration approval with deemed consistency evaluation clearance.
NewTimeSpace News: On 22 June 2026, SSY Group Limited (02005.HK) issued a voluntary announcement disclosing the latest progress of product development.
As regards Safinamide Mesylate Tablets (100mg and 50mg), the Group has obtained the manufacturing registration approval from the National Medical Products Administration. The product is categorised as Class 4 chemical drug and deemed to have passed consistency evaluation, and the Group is the third domestic enterprise to obtain approval. The product is mainly used for combination therapy in adult patients with idiopathic Parkinson’s disease accompanied by motor fluctuations, to be administered in combination with levodopa and other anti-Parkinson’s disease medicines. Previously, the Group’s Safinamide Mesylate active pharmaceutical ingredient has been registered with the National Medical Products Administration as an API for marketed finished pharmaceutical products.
In respect of Procaterol Hydrochloride Inhalation Solution (0.3ml:30μg), the Group has obtained the manufacturing registration approval from the National Medical Products Administration. Classified as Class 3 chemical drug, it is deemed to have passed consistency evaluation. The product is mainly used to relieve various symptoms caused by airflow limitation in bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis and emphysema.
