Dongjiang Environment (00895.HK): Fulfils Guarantee Obligation of Approximately RMB1.1983 Million for Controlled Subsidiary Mianyang Dongjiang

Amid fierce competition in the hazardous waste industry, Mianyang Dongjiang, its controlled subsidiary, saw lower-than-expected waste collection and transportation volume after commissioning, coupled with continuous declines in disposal prices, resulting in tight capital turnover and failure to repay its loan due to Postal Savings Bank of China on schedule.

In accordance with the terms of the guarantee contract, the Company will fulfil the guarantee indemnity obligation totalling around RMB1.1983 million, which entirely consists of current-period loan interest. The Company has previously fulfilled multiple rounds of guarantee indemnification obligations for Mianyang Dongjiang.
