CAPITALAND ASCENDAS REIT Proposes SGD133.9 Million Acquisition of Logistics Property at 5 Tuas Avenue 5, Singapore

NewTimeSpace News: On 4 June 2026, Capitaland Ascendas REIT unveiled its planned acquisition of the property at 5 Tuas Avenue 5 at a consideration of SGD133.9 million. The asset is a seven-storey ramp-up logistics warehouse with a total gross floor area of approximately 50,200 sqm and around 23 years remaining on its land lease tenure.

As disclosed in the announcement, the total all-in investment cost for the proposed acquisition is projected at roughly SGD136.5 million, comprising the base purchase consideration of SGD133.9 million, around SGD1.3 million in acquisition fees payable to the manager and other miscellaneous transaction expenses. The acquisition will be funded via a mix of net proceeds from the equity fundraising completed in April 2026 and debt financing, with completion targeted for H2 2026.
