NewTimeSpace News:On February 27, 2026, CapitaLand Ascendas REIT, Singapore’s first listed business space and industrial real estate investment trust, issued an announcement stating that it has acquired six premium Grade A logistics assets in Spain for approximately SGD 185.4 million (equivalent to EUR 124 million). This marks its maiden entry into the Spanish logistics market and a further deepening of its European footprint.

It is learned that the acquired logistics asset portfolio includes two assets in Madrid, the capital of Spain, and four in Barcelona, all of which are premium Grade A logistics properties with a total gross floor area of 98,825 square meters.

William Tay, Chief Executive Officer of CLAR, stated that this acquisition in Spain is in line with the company's disciplined investment strategy of acquiring high-quality assets in developed markets. It further expands CLAR’s European footprint and enhances the scale, quality and geographic diversification of its logistics investment portfolio.
